It took me exactly five seconds to find this, so I must conclude that JM finds a five-second search a waste of his time, or that he just makes stuff up as he goes along.

In earlier interviews and speeches, I've seen him claim that Jesus is an equivalent of the Sun, because he was the son/sun of God. Now, that would only work if the word for son and sun would sound as similar in ancient Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek and whatnot as they do in English -- which is a completely ridiculous notion.

And since there's so much stuff in his speeches that is complete bullshit (and easy to reveal as such, if you do some of those five-second searches of your own) that I don't listen to anything he says anymore. My two cents.

You still don't seem to get it. It's ONLY in English that the words for son and sun sound similar. Since the Bible was not originally written in English, but in Hebrew, Greek, Latin, etc. and then translated and re-translated into modern languages, the similarity of son and sun is completely irrelevant. In Latin, for example, "son" is "filius" and "sun" is "sol" - so where's your similarity there?

In Hebrew, "son" is "ben", but "sun" is "shemesh." How close is THAT??
