Have you ever saw a ghost, dead relative, angel/demon, or spirit

The first house my wife and I owned had some stange shit going on. Foot steps on the stairs when nobody was there. Things moved from one part of the house when no one moved them. Doors opening and closing for no reason.

I don't know if I believe in ghosts but something odd was happening.

Yes, mostly mists.

Yes, I saw the energies of my past relatives :-)..

They "visit" often... I either see them in my mind, clear as day, like a film scrolling quickly through my mind, stopping to zoom in on certain faces I recognise... or, I see their energy outlines, in mist form or shadow form...

The energy balls are the best :-)..

I saw an Angel morph from a human body to protect the human. He had a huge sword and everything.

There's am old Shaker village near my home.

I was up there trying out a new digital camera, around 1998 I think.

I took some nice panoramics of a wide field and old orchard that I could practice stitching together in PS.

When I imported the pics and zoomed in on one side of one of the photos, there in this cloud of smoke about 40' away and 20' up in the air from me was a lady riding a bicycle. She was dressed in late 1800's garb and seemed to be looking at me.

Mind you, this was a clear day and was not "meadow mist". I did not see it until after I processed the photo.

In fact, I remember when looking at it later that I had the feeling that I wasn't looking at a ghost, but more of another time that just happened to coexist with me in that moment, if that's a thing that I am describing correctly.

Later I did find out that the residents of that village did dress like that and did ride bicycle in the early 20th century .

To this day, I pull out the camera when I pass on old ghost town or a cemetery. I have got orbs from a graveyard in NW Massachusetts that I didn't see with the naked eye.

Grandpa came to me in a dream the night he died and gave me a message. I found out when I woke up he had passed. It has been with me my whole life.

Delusions are not real.

My grandfather chewed tobacco, and would empty his spittoon into the toilet, at night. He would usually stand in my doorway, checking on me, during this bathroom visit.

He died of old age, in his bedroom, next to mine. For a LONG TIME after his death, I would awaken during the night, and see him standing in the doorway, holding his spittoon, looking at me.

It did not comfort me, it scared the shit out of me, and I began sleeping with my head under the covers, out of fear. I still prefer sleeping this way, 55 years later.

After my grandfather died, the sheriff of the county, adjacent to where we lived, came to visit my parents. He said that teenagers were partying at my grandfather's old abandoned home, and were writing on the walls, and generally destroying it. The sheriff said that some teenagers had reported, on multiple occasions, that an old man would appear, and chase them until they left the property.

The sheriff told my mom that when he went to investigate, an old man did come out of the surrounding woods, and chase him, also. He said he left in a hurry, because he recognized the man as Uncle Jim, my mother's father.

Yep, my grandma appeared standing the foot of my bed one evening a day after she died.

When i was young, i went down stairs to go to bed. Then lights when out and i was pulled from hallway into my bedroom, was choked against the wall by this evil spirit. It went away after i moved from that home. She looked like a sinister old hag.

Was just discussing this with coworkers the past few weeks.

Some of us see a man and woman in 1940's to 1950's clothes seating on a sofa on one floor of our building which is over one hundred years old.

Only four of us can see them, we all four also see other figures while not at work, such as in our homes and in our travels. We as humans are surrounded by them.

The previous owner of my home died in a vehicle accident, she could be seen and heard crying in the kitchen.

I photographed a new washer two years ago after installation and found I had captured the figure of the woman to the right of the kitchen island / counter as she reached into a kitchen cabinet who's door she had opened.

what happened in your long story.. is he did not go down the tube to the light.. he stayed stuck on earth. He is harmless.. no more harmful that in life anyway. Take the covers off your head and welcome him to visit you.. he might actually like that ...and maybe you can encourage him to move to the light.. he doesn't really know he is missing his meat suit likely.

Yes, in a dream, shortly after their death.

Lived with a poltergeist for a number of years.

Objects flying and "falling" off shelves in a horisontal
fashion, doors and windows slamming for no obvious reason,
strange noises etc, up until one creepy night when I got
home after working into the wee hours and found my 3 y o
daughter re-enacting the famous "Poltergeist"
movie scene in front of the TV.

Realized with a jolt, that every word she had been happily
little girl-babbling about "my jumping bed", "my little
sister" (she's got a big brother, but no sisters) and "my
other Mom" was all the gods' own truth.



After that, I decided not to take it anymore.

The old Jugend-style brewery was too beautiful to leave,
though, with its 140 sq mtrs living space, 4,5 mtrs ceiling
height, arches and nooks and corners, brass details and
ornaments, so I decided to get rid of the...umhh...entity
causing trouble.

Told the ghost to eff off and leave us alone!!!
And lo and behold: the phenomena stopped occurring.
Until new tenants moved in.

These days, word in the street is that despite thorough
renovation of the building, made in the early 2000's,
nobody wants to live there for very long.

Oh, and goes with my story, that I entertained absolutely 0
belief in "ghosts", up until the very moment I simply could
not deny the reality of it any longer.

Before that, you would have had to search the planet for
a stiffer skeptic than yours truly.

And that's the way it goes - nothing is real, until it is
experienced.



I have seriously quit laughing at people's stories of the
paranormal. Those things do exist. No idea what they
are or how and why, but they are real.

Wow 60% of people are delusional or liar.

Never per-say seen or heard one.

But knowing someone is there... Yes!

Dead relatives don't come back - if someone thinks they see that, its a demon. Period.
When we die its either Heaven or Hell. There is no coming back to visit or haunt people.

That may well be.

Your belief in "heaven" and "hell", however, is even
more unsubstantiated than people's observations of the
paranormal.

My mother-in-law passed a few years ago on the early morning after Christmas. Family was gathered and I told my daughter around 10:30pm to go home to watch the dog as we would be up all night. The next morning I called her and told her Grandma passed around 4:30am. She said "I know." I said "How did you know?" She said the dog, who slept at the edge of her bed, and could see the doorway to the hallway, woke up and went nuts at that time. The dog saw something in the doorway and was very fearful, growling and barking. She would not calm down, even when my daughter tried to let her out. My daughter checked the house for intruders even though we have an alarm system. Now note the house was the one she raised her 4 children in and lived most her life. My husband and I bought it from her when she inherited her father's shore bungalow and decided to move there. I believe she took one walk through the home and said goodbye to my daughter who was not there when she passed.

My father: My father died when I was 2 (1962) and I never knew him. He was a navigator on B52 in USAF. We lived in Georgia and when I turned 50, (2010) I went down to see the home I was born in. I always wondered what it was like as growing up as there was no Google Maps and all I had were a few photos. Flash forward to 2014. I moved to Tennessee for work and had always wanted to live in the South for awhile. There were no jobs in NJ under Obama, and a friend rented a home for me on my behalf. I moved to it, sight unseen, alone. A few streets down was Thomas Ave (Dad went by his middle name Tom) and I thought, "Well, here's Thomas Ave. Maybe Dad is nearby watching out for me." Upon moving in, I realized the house was the exact same one as in Georgia. One level brick, attached garage on left (Georgia it was a carport) and side entrance to kitchen, Mom had told me everyone used the side door (not the front) because it went right into the kitchen. I was out in the drive way having a cigarette, leaning against the trunk of my car, and admiring the stars that are so plentiful out there. I turned around to go back in the house, and against the white garage door from left to right, I saw my father in his navy uniform walk past the garage and through the glass storm door into the kitchen. I know it was his uniform because it still hangs in my closet. As I was seeing this, I thought "Am I really seeing this?" and I began to count 1,2,3,4 for the time I was seeing this ghostly image. He took 4 steps, walked through the glass door and into the kitchen. I was not scared, but felt he came back as it was so familiar like the house in Georgia, plus I was there. I felt great comfort knowing he was watching over me, and that I had finally seen my father, as I have no real memories of him being so small at the time of his passing.
