I expect everything will continue apace. The baby is yourself. That was also a joke. And the Diomedes reference is far more compelling than anything you've offered. Diomedes and Odysseus ventured many a night mission all by themselves to win glory for the Argives in battle. On one such mission, after butchering the sons of Aries the very night they arrived at Troy's defense, Odysseus was overcome with the sudden compulsion to murder his constant compatriot and claim all the spoils of this victory for his own everlasting fame. Diomedes saw to this by simply overpowering and binding Odysseus, dragging him all the way back to camp. He thought nothing of the attempted betrayal, never gave it any mention, and did not seek to defame his most ambitious ally for this moment of weakness.
