Since I thought of the UPN theory where gravity is explained easy I look at phenomena in a diferent way , gravity playing a huge yet subtle role : appreciate it by thinking of our sun and planets slinginging/'hanging' to our galaxy just by gravity , a huge force able to tear appart planets and stars ...

Now , our solar system is approaching another area in our galaxy , in particular two giant arms which are a large concentration of stars , hence a greater concentration of gravity . This in turn will affect Earth like churning dough and increasing the Tectonic Heating , i.e. Global Warming , volcanism and earth quakes ...

But when we exit this higher concentration of gravity we may be heading to more Glaciations .

BTW , the UPN shows that gravity acts in a Spiral way/vector ... hence planetary Alignments do not produce the expected result as already experienced .
