I don't want anything to do with them and I never will. I'm OK with people wanting to do good and help out their fellow man but you do not have to part of some secret organization to do that. You won't gain any secret knowledge that is "worth it". And it does not make you superior to belong to any secret club. Sure, you may get privileges and perks belonging to one but I guess that speaks volumes about the people associated with them. Who claim to serve others and where their good deeds on their sleeve. A mens club to socialize, network and helping their fellow man. But they are very judgmental as well. They do good deeds to appear good. But if you were to apply for a job with an employer who was a member, against someone else who was too. Even if you were more qualified, guess who is going to get that job...? Guess who is going to get that loan or that ticket pulled or scholarship. That promotion...? And believe me, they talk to each other. They want their image to look clean but they are really no better than you an I. Can even be said that it is a civilized gang. If you make their %$#$ list, It will be hard for you to find a job. You'll get speeding tickets. Treated like crap throughout the community. Shunned and belittled. Bet you never knew they all knew each other. That's right. They meet on certain days of the week and socialize as a mens club. Oh right, you have to believe in GOD to be a member. And they say they don't discriminate. Riiiiiiiight!!!! I don't need to be a member to do good and be a respected member of society. Just look and see what jobs these guys hold. They are involved in local politics, real estate, law enforcement, banking, education. Generally if someone is ran out of town, these guys are associated with it. Rant over.
