This is sad and I see it happening around me. I know people that have had similar experiences, some luckier than this young man. I don't want my kids to enlist and I cry every time someone say's their kids just went in. >sigh< Often they have been relieved of duty just before their "time" is up that way they don't get any bene's but still did their service. I have 6 Combat Tours This guy apparently has many. many other issues and has done things to lose his rank. I have seen many Soldiers go bad, and I mean bad in a bad way. This happens, some people are just not manufactured for ware. Sad story, but there are other ways he can receive help.

This Veteran will now have to get help from his local County & State. He Burned his VA benefits. He went AWOL. He did everything unnecessary to lose 5 ranks (From SSG to PVT) I treasure my VA benefits. Good luck to him, and all he encounters.

Some of the POG units are chapter 15 outing for just two cases of small misconduct.Hell, 4 years ago someone could get in with bad felonies.Goes to show you they will tolerate just about anything when the budget allows.Right now good soldiers are being canned with very little effort by COs to save there careers.They will need these guys for Iran.Gotta love the ways of the Army. Looks like Clinton's RIF years again.
