7.7 Earthquake but NO after shocks?

I was wondering the same thing.

Lot's of 4 and 5 mag quakes all over the place today.

The quake was VERY DEEP.


I think those ultra deep quakes don't have aftershocks.

Really hope Japan does't get hit with another big quake. With fukushima & people still recovering it would be a horrific event.

I doubt it will be Japan again... The big ones don't usually strike the same place twice in such a short period of time...

There's no aftershocks because this is the foreshock to the 10+ megaquake that will sink Japan into the ocean and make Edgar Cayce's doom prediction come to fruition...

heavy shocks reported in the south of my pants. i think it's building up to something huge.

There most likely were aftershocks they were just too deep to register.

On 7/5/2008 there was a 7.7 in SEA OF OKHOTSK at nearly the same depth...just found it kind of interesting I guess.
