Officially Freaked Out! | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 19037596 United States 08/16/2012 12:42 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been lurking on this website for well over a year (Never posted). I am very skeptical of everything I see here. Well, tonight, I got freaked out when I took the dog for a walk. Never in my 24 years of living in San Diego have I seen anything even close to the weird f***ing clouds like I saw tonight. I was trying to take it all in, and then five Black Hawk helicopters came overhead in succession. What's really messed up is that I took photos of the helicopters, but they are barely visible on my smartphone camera (Galaxy Nexus). I could see them clearly in my vision, but when I took photos with my phone, they are barely visible. They look like mosquitoes. Are they able to somehow block me taking photos of them? I want to post photos but it seems like you must be a paying member of this website in order to do that. Any suggestions? Quoting: kelton2010 yes, the government has tapped into every phone to make sure that the photographing of black hawks cannot be distributed. come on bud, snap out of it lmao |

The Observer User ID: 16137578 United States 08/16/2012 02:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They look like the makings of earthquake clouds. San Diego's been rumbling all week, small swarms. I live in LA and I noticed earthquake clouds last week and then @ 11:30 that night (around that time, I think), we had the 4.5 in Yorba Linda, but I definitely felt it and the aftershock a few seconds later. Just google earthquake clouds. I've accepted that there's enough science in the theory (something about gas releasing from the earth, rising into the atmosphere and mixing with other gaseous substances with barometric pressure part of the equation...) to be plausible. Even though I see those types of clouds often (they look like rows of wavy hair upside down), there's not always a quake that follows. But who knows, a lot of them are 1-2's. |
Astrologics User ID: 1427227 United States 08/16/2012 02:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Smart phones may take "good pictures" but the zoom on them is absolute shite. Just seeing with your eyes is about 1.75x the zoom of a typical smartphone. They have digital zooms, but no optical zoom, meaning the picture just gets more pixelated as you zoom instead of remaining clear. You can even do a quick experiment to prove this, just take a picture on your phone of an object. Have the camera at the same distance as your eye, and compare. Last Edited by The Palafox on 08/16/2012 02:31 AM Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. |
