I had a couple of great grand parents who were mason [Yorkish]
and Order of the Eastern Star [OES] Canadians. She had a few old books by the Rosicrucians. Those books spoke of walking through walls and things along that line, very strange material.

I didn't know but the woman I rent a rm from in a big house ex bf was a 3rd degree mason. She kept his small blue book and Honest To God ask me to decode it...She hardly knows how to use the internet. I refused. I was brought up to have respect for yourself and others including their privacy, values, morals and principles. This is a foreign way to live for most Americans(sorry it is what it is).

Knowledge is not good or evil. It is the intent of the person using the knowledge which turns something good or evil.

the teachings of freemasonry and rosicrucianism are like all knowledge, neither good nor evil.

But some evil assholes use those teachings for dark nefarious means. At the same time some good people use the same teachings to help and benefit mankind.

But that doesn't factor in here on glp, because a bunch of people have seen some youtube videos with scary music that tell them that freemasonry, rosicrucianism, theosophy these are devil worshipping cults. And those people who believe that have not done enough, if any, research aside from watching some youtube videos.

Get real, they take turns, as EMPIRES. Several around the globe each year to decide who gets their turn setting the rules that will run the next years finances. They are all so rich, they don't care, but they do side bets on who's economy will tank the most from their decisions.

originally, way back when long before the existence of freemasonry or rosicrucianism, the reason why great truth was kept secret was because of fear it would fall into the wrong hands. You had to prove yourself worthy, that you wouldn't abuse the teaching for your own power and benefit... and sure enough that's exactly what happened.... evil power hungry egomaniacs gained access to these secret teachings and are the ones that all the glp goons label as nwo / illuminati.

so the reason for keeping knowledge secret was done to protect humans from human nature... the same reason why you don't tell a 5 year old where you hide your gun and how to use it. A 5 year old is not capable of handling that knowledge and will most likely shoot himself or someone else. It's the same reason why you have to go through years of training and schooling to be a doctor before they let you start operating on people. You have to go through all the necessary steps and prove you can be trusted with the information.

if you gain power and control from understanding certain knowledge you can obscure and hide that knowledge so others don't follow on the same path and knock you out of your throne. So you make the knowledge that gave you your power seem "evil" and scare people away from it so they don't learn what you learned.
