Been married 30 years, 5 kid's, and 3 grand kid's later, working all the time, tends to put a damper on the ole sex life. This movie was a God send, and wake up call for both of us. We were like rabbits when we were younger, but as the years passed by, we seemed to drift apart in that area. Never have cheated, but have had the chance. She still does it for me. She is 5', blonde hair, blue eyes, and a 100 pounds soaking wet. But as the years go by, other things seem to take the passion away. So for any of you GLPer's that have been married for a while, and seem to have lost that spark, GO see this movie. Lots of laughs, and one hell of a message!hfGoofy Thum

Glad you had a good time. Can you spoil the movie here please? From the commercials it seems they take it pretty slow for awhile. The one scene where they wake up in bed together I am not sure they even have sex that night. Thanks and glad you and the Wifey had a good meal and date.

Thanks! I love that little lady with all my being! It hurts though that we fell into a routine, with kid's, and all the attention they need, that we kind of let our lives drift apart. Only one left at home now, and he graduates this year. So I am going to make our relationship a priority. Self employed contractor, and work usually 7 days a week. But now I have decided to take the weekends (unless an emergency) and dedicate that time to her, and her alone. Thanks again!hf

Actually it starts out a little slow, but did not take long to pick up the pace. Very funny movie, and true to form when it comes to being married for a while. That one scene you are referring to, no they do not, and at one point you think they are going to part ways. Again, great movie, and a lot of laughs. My wife did cry at the end though, and on the way home, said how the last part hit home. It was great for both of us.hf

Hi OP! My hubby and I will celebrate our 34th anniversary in a couple of weeks. When I read this post from you, I thought I bet his wife would think this is the best anniversary gift that you could ever give her, if you would allow her to read this post. I think its wonderful that you plan to do this to improve your relationship! Happy Anniversary!!

I gave it a 5* to combat the 1*. I always wanted to be married forever.. Unfortunately I picked a woman who after 9 years and 2 kids with her.. decided to run off with her ex bf from her HS. She ran off with him and I'm raising them by myself. Be thankful you got a good one.

No, she did. After I told her about the little gal that cut's my hair, her younger sister, and her cousin! (LOL! just kidding). No, we are always together, as she takes care of all the appointments and paper work for the business. Trust has never been an issue. Thanks for the laugh!hf

Sorry to here that, but I know that those kid's are the priority for you. Hire a sitter, and go out and have a great time. Who knows who you might meet? But I will say, there are some great women out there. Just take your time.hf

Ribeye - yum. I haven't had a good steak since Hope and Change limited me to hamburger and chicken.

I'm going out with her tonight.
What restaurant and movie would you
suggest.

chuckle
And not The Dark Night Rises.
That's just too 3-D for me.
Shoulda followed the signs but didn't

My parents were married 54 years, before my father passed. My little sister has been married 23 years, 2 older brother's have been married to their wives 36 & 34 years. No divorces. Between the 4 of us, we have 15 kids, and 11 grand kids!!! Our parents showed us how to make a relationship work!hf
