Heard that also ,storm is stronger then cat 1 Chad said that 106 mph gust was picked up by the oil rig in the GOM and it was probably a similar gust that hit Nungesser's home that caused that much damage. But it isn't a sustained wind so technically still a cat 1 storm. But from what I have seen all night from various feeds it does seem a whole lot stronger. |

TWC is saying conditions won't change much for 24 hrs and I've seen some models that show it parked in approx. the same spot for 2-3 days before it heads north doubt if that happens but even 24-36 hrs seems like alot |

I just hope those levees hold. There were explaining on CNN how they were designed to pump so much water per hour, but this water is inundating them and falling fast. A nearly dry Mississippi is now nearly full. A very underestimated storm I think. |
