This is a public school. People in that school district need to SPEAK THE FUCK UP and not allow themselves to be cowered by a group petty school administrators.

Maybe instead of gratuitously harassing this deaf boy they should be weeding out the pedophiles in their midst. I'm sure there are a few among the administrators and teaching staff.

I would normally not advocate for frivolous lawsuits, but....I would sue the shit out of this school. That's discriminatory. Would they ask a typical kid to change their name? No way.

It's not stupidity but consistency.

They are constantly training children that all guns are bad. Even inadvertently through sign language, there can be no exceptions or tolerance. To do so might send mixed messages in their programming.
