Jack White who made those "studies" on Aulis didn't understand perspective or even which side of the LM was the front. That doesn't mean you have to be just like him. The mountains are distant. They don't move much even whn objects in the foreground appear to move quite a bit.

Not lens shadows. Internal lens reflections of the crosshairs themselves. Again, notice how they show up around the bright light source and curl away from it. Perfectly consistent with an internal lens reflection. What other theory do you have?


Why should it be? There is plenty of reflected light from the surface.

They show up on a few but there are only so many where they have the camera aimed just so at the sun.

Some do, some don't. The specific angle and brightness makes a difference. In this case the sun is mostly obscured behind the LM. In others you get lens flares first. Ask a photographer because you're obviously not one.

What is YOUR explanation for it?

AC65, I dont think you understand the physics of reflected light.
Most of the reflected light shown in the nasa pics are fake as hell. Will take me pages to explain it, but that is not the moon.
Those are not the lighting environment you will find on the moon.
Look at all the moon photos and you will see that it is studio loghting.
No matter how hard nasa tries to erase and doctor those archive fake pictures they still stand out as fake shit.

The location is most likely a hangar or some kind of a huge studio. Really not difficult to film.

Apparently you don't understand it. Whether the scene is 2d or 3d you can analyse for a vanishing point on the shadows and determine the distance to the light source.

You can recognize it by its effects on the dust that is kicked up. In a vacuum it doesn't cloud and get suspended in the air. It falls at the same rate as everything else.

You think the only record is in photographs? The hours of unbroken video footage (during which you can match many of the pictures they took to specific times) don't count?
