Wow, we're under flash flood warning right now.

Wish I could send some your way. Isaac just passed through a bit back as well.
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy

Re: Two months without a single drop of rain here in São Paulo-Brazil
It's not only winter, but my city is the southern highlands, about 1000 meters above sea level, where it's very rare to have temperatures above 87ºF even during SUMMER!
The max today was around 90ºF and it's expected to get HOTTER tomorrow!!
And there's more: in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul temperatures reached 94ºF today and the minumum forecast for next week is below 28ºF!!!!!!!!!!!!!wtf
If thats's no reason for concern nothing else could be!!!

Re: Two months without a single drop of rain here in São Paulo-Brazil
I too live in Sao Paulo....and yes, it is extremely dry here. With the lack of rainfall, plus the low humidity, we are suffering from very dry throats and noses. My daughter has nose bleeds about once or twice a month during regular weather, but now it is at least once a week, sometimes more. We are running humidifiers in each bedroom all night long, but honestly, I cannot feel the difference as it is so, so dry.

I check the weather regularly, hoping for rain in the forecast, and it seems to be forecast every week, but just refused to show up. Even now, it was 94 F today, and will be the same tomorrow, and then it is supposed to cool down to the low to mid 60's this coming weekend, with rain....but we shall see - really crossing my fingers.

With the high heat our house gets and stays hot. We have no A/C, so we are forced to sue fans - but running them now just adds to the discomfort of the dryness, so there is no easy solution to keeping cool at night while trying to get a decent night of rest....

C'monnnnnnn rain!!!!!!!! Please show up soon.

Keep safe, all!

People are getting sick.

How sick? You don't have drinking water? I doubt many people can understand that video. Maybe I missed the translation button. Why did you drop this post and leave? There is at least one nutcase on here....at least.
 Quoting: WindyMind
We have clean tap water in most of the big cities, so it is the case for like 90% of the houses and companies in São Paulo. The issue was about the dryness of the air making people have nose bleeds and other breathing difficulties. I think it's gotten better though.
