American artist paints self portraits under the influence of hard drugs

ARTIST Bryan Saunders has created a collection of bizarre self-portraits all painted while high on drugs.

The American tried 18 different drugs in 11 days and drew himself to see what effect each narcotic would have on his work.

Bryan, 43, from Tennessee, took everything from cocaine, crystal meth and hallucinogenic mushrooms, to lighter fluid, cough syrup and strong prescription pills before experimenting with his easel...
