Simultaneously being bombarded with terror and wonder is nothing that appeals to a sane and level headed person. And, of course, it is more enjoyable for me personally to watch the perceptions of the players struggle with each other. Perhaps this exercise in dualistic thought has taken on a life of it's own for a reason. Perhaps the existence of this exercise is evidence that points to real fears by the 'architects' of it.
