I've had cats where one likes to hunt birds and is damn good at it. While the other sister like to hunt ground prey like gerbils, etc.

True.. Kitty purrs are relaxing (: makes me sleepy.

My cat growing up was unpredictable... He could be purring one minute, attack mode and giving you a good swipe with his claws the next....

well i find it intresting that cats calm them selves down while purring some cats even do it before the die the fact is that high vibrations can make any person feel good like people hum it makes u feel odd lol try it have a good day and make positive energy oh and see if u know what this means

You're right. I sometimes have heart palpatations when I go to bed at night. One night my cat laid on my chest and started purring. I could actually feel the vibrations going thru my chest and within about 20 seconds my heart palpatations stopped. Also found out it works on back aches and muscle aches if you can get the cat to lie on those areas. Neat stuff!

what relaxes me is watching my cat wash himself. it sends me off to sleep for some reason.
