I think we're going to get purified through trials and tribulation prior to the rapture.
I'm not positive by any means but Jesus' words seem to indicate that.
Quoting: Herman The Kid GOD's full wrath upon the earth cannot come with his church still here... We have to be gone for biblical fullfillment to come to fruition.
