“We’re Training To Invade The United States”: Chinese Soldier Spills The Beans?

All China needs to do is send a couple missiles with some EMP nukes in a couple container ships to Mexico, bring em up to the border and fire em up in the sky. Wait 6 months, most of us would be dead. An invasion wouldn't be hard then and any american forces off mainland wouldn't know who sent the nukes and would probably believe it was al-quaeda anyway.

This. China and the USA aren't going to war anytime soon. It's for the same reason the USSR and USA didn't go to war. There wouldn't be any winners! Both would lose and lose bad. Neither side can invade each other, especially China. The USA has bases all over the pacific. China would need to deal with those first unless they wanted to be harassed from their rear and have their supply lines cut off. Even if they did manage to get a fleet past pearl harbor and get to the West Coast the USA Pacific fleet would be there to meet them along with missiles and war planes from all over the USA. If China somehow managed to survive that and land troops, I am not joking when I say at almost all Americans, except foreigners and some pacifist lefitists, would be be armed with their own weapons and ready to fight anyone who's on US soil. Then you have all the US ground forces and the USAs huge web of alliances.

The USA invading China is also a pipe dream. China is huge and communist states can be nuts when it comes to warfare. They have a billion people also capable of defending China. They aren't all armed already like most in the USA though. I honestly don't think the US Navy would be able to launch an invasion onto Chinese soil. China has missiles capable of sinking an aircraft carrier. A few planes can sink a whole fleet if all their missiles hit. Maybe the USA can land with huge casualties but I don't think they would be able to hold land for long. The supply issues would be a nightmare. They would probably have to land in Korea and attack through NK or in a SE Asian allies lands and attack from the South.

An invasion for either side is an absolute nightmare. With todays technology I don't think we will ever see WW2 type invasions again against superpowers.

The only realistic outcome of a full blown hot-war with China is nuclear. It's the same with any nuclear powers. Even if the war starts conventional the losing side will eventually get desperate enough where they feel they need to use nukes to survive.

Is a China vs USA Cold War possible in the future? Sure, but a hot war? Not unless either side is feeling suicidal.

What is that supposed to mean? I am grown up. I see that we refuse to take this very real threat as a possibility. Nobodies even talking about hardening our electronically dependent society from EMP. I do realize the cost would be too much. So it is a real catch 22 for everyone and one the biggest holes in our defense.

Numbers-check..Well armed numbers-check..almost unlimited amounts of guns and ammo-check..Four wheel drive jeeps and trucks-check..Communication and intel( CB's and cells and internet,not to mention the social aspect of small to midsize towns and citys)check..

An invading force onto the US would be 'impossible'..Too much wealth, well spent, for guns, ammo, camping type gear, off road trucks, etc,etc.

Not to mention the NG, Bigger and badder than most people think, and they are in every town and city in the US..
