Started much sooner than Obama. Clinton did NAFTA open border outsourcing. Anyway, GM is still a USA brand. Not all GM are the same, you will need to choose a quality auto. You get what you pay for. I like the bigger motor vehicles with a proven history, not the smaller motors that came along claiming better fuel economy. They just dont seem to have the quality or last as long. I like to keep an auto a long time, not buy a new one every other year, always making payments. Just depends on what you are looking for. The bigger motors are made in north America.

In fact I may never buy another auto so really dont care. If I do it will be used GM which there are still plenty.

What got me,, while I forced myself to watch the DNC was all the UAW signs with glassy eyes pumped up to vote again for Obama..

Cant they see,, that all that stimulus money was sent right over to China to build more plants there?

Even the GM Future Technologies Research Center that was already under construction in Kokomo, Indiana, went to China AFTER the Bankruptcy.

And the taxpayer is on the hook for the TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS that Government-Owned Ally/GMAC has loaned to outright credit criminals on GM cars in the last year, to boost Obama's economic numbers for the election.

Those cars are starting to be repo's now, but the effects won't hit until AFTER election day, which was exactly the point

BUT all other countries benefit from the USA because of our huge amount of consumerism. They will not be able to succeed without it. In their current socialist state...they only have a tiny percentage of people to "consume"...they NEED America. The worst part is the very fact that our own government has made it that we also "NEED" them because nothing is made here anymore. We could easily solve this if we would create more domestically produced comsumeables.

I, for one, am very happy that my car brand was never sold to China even though GM tried....lol go figure... I thought those creepy peeps would WANT Hummers! It is now no longer made at all. Didn't make the cut. But, alas, I love mine.

Want the real fact check On that. My father was the executive liaison to General Motors for China, GM built a two billion dollar plant in China a few years ago after it was built. The Chinese military surrounded it. Then Told GM either get us into the world trade organization or we are keeping your plant. within 30 days china was in the wto. Real truth hear. This is how china works! When china is ready they will throw GM out and keep everything.....

You got that fucking right. They did it to Fellowes, the paper shredder maufacturer. Fellowes moved all their tooling over to China and the Chinese partner closed up the factory tight. He threw out all the American bosses and put a chain on the gate. No product went out, and Fellowes went bankrupt. The Chinese courts sold all the assetts to the partner in bankruptcy proceedings. The Fellowes family had their entire company stolen from them and it looks good on them. They deserve it. I certainly shed no tears for them.
