Look at the face of a newborn.
You see the primal life force pulsating through their eyes. Their spirit is still free, not indoctrinated with religious, cultural or political bullshit.

They know nothing about original sin, any kind of fake god, hate against another being or a too large ego. If you really look into a newborns eyes, you can see how we humans are supposed to be. They are free spirits, enlightened from the beginning. Only our cultural "achievments" make us to the scumbags we really are. Babys are not manipulated yet.

Thus, it is my firm belief that we can take the mind of a newborn as a perfect example on how we should live, to be happy and sustain the planet.

This, for me, is proof that all religions are a bunch of horsecrap.

If god would have written a book, he'd write it so that it would be really simple and easy to understand. Even for an infant.
I know, you think god is the big eye in the sky, but that's just wrong.

God is the sparkle in the eyes of all living things. Drop your bullshit and deal with it.

Great reply Duck :)

So silly of the OP, can't image how he would post if babies were'nt born that way, innocent and Holy.

As it is written, God created man in his image, pure, innocent, free of sin, and good, it's the people and societies who shape new borns the way they become as they grow older.

Humans today are selfish, they think of themselves and think they have all the rights to live their lives their own way, as if they have the right to kill or to break marriages. There's no meaning of responsability anymore.

We are responsable for the future of our children, if we decide today to paint the skies in red, they will never understand if one morning the skies turn blue, so I guess they will paint it red again.

Sorry Op did not mean to offend you, maybe you got me all wrong ........... see my post, I never backed up any religion in anyway, I guess we agree on that.

I felt I had to reply to your to post just because you sounded anti-God not just anti-religion.

Let me remind you that you also were born perfect in the image of God. We all had our own parential influences, but now as grown ups it's up to you and also up to me, to choose either the path that society offers us, or else choose the path that our creator offered.

Re: When we are born, we know nothing about religion. Still, we are more holy than adults are
Actually, there were some interesting threads on here, early last year, people talking about the stories their children told them at a very young age, say 2 or 3 - stories of being in Heaven, and how they were assigned/chose their mothers, talked about what it was like there, about being with Jesus, about the colors, the beautiful flowers, amazing stories. These children were not coached or exposed to things that caused this, according to the parents. But it is said that by the time they reach the age of 5 or so, they forget their pre-birth life and are stuck in this mortal timeline till the end.

Pretty cool stuff, tho. The Bible does describe Heaven as having a river of life, and one child said she was placed in the river and sent down. One child even related that she was supposed to be her aunt's child, but then she went back and was given to her mother, instead. The aunt had indeed had a miscarriage before the child was conceived. Another child spoke of how she was there to protect her mother from someone. The mother had indeed been attacked with intent to harm or kill before the child was conceived, possibly more than once. The child had never heard anything of this.

here, found the thread, and I think there are other stories online...

Babies are innocent. They don't know. They can't do good nor evil, because they can't differentiate between the two.

Once we're adults and we DO know, we then have the responsibility to do the right thing.

Oh, my BAD - wrong thread - but here's a link - same type of story:

[link to healing.about.com]

She said she and the other children were very happy in Heaven, they were well taken care of and well loved. She made God sound like the ultimate mother.

Soon she was busy drawing, and I did not ask questions. She handed me her artwork; a picture of herself, unborn and smiling, in a bubble, in my belly.

The last thing she said, "It was warm and comfortable in your belly, I didn't want to come out."

I was a week overdue when I was induced.

*My daughter's father was an atheist and was insistent that we not expose our child to religion. I am a Christian, so this was a point of contention in our relationship. For the most part he got his way, but I called her my gift from God. That was the extent of her exposure to God. I am still not sure where she initially heard the word "Heaven", but once, a year earlier, she was upset and crying because her father was cross with her. Through her tears she told me she wanted to go back to Heaven.

Existence is fractal in nature,
and the centre of the Universe is with every being.
Creation is an ever ongoing thing.
Spiritual teaching cannot exist.
Learning only.

Or so it seems to me.
Maybe that was what the Messiahs of all times tried
to convey.

Organized religion nothing but tactics to keep
the War On LOve going. Crimes against humanity.
