I don't think the crabs are suffering, they are "sleepy". Of course I can't know this for sure. So it's not worse than how we slaughter meat animals here (or there.)

There is a practical cold-bloodedness to the Chinese which you can see in the video too, they say it's convenient which is true. You are from China, you know that the people are like that. It's a part of the Chinese culture. On the other hand, China never goes out of its way to do damage. US foreign policy frequently does so. US is a lot of nice talk with some terrible actions, China is less nice talk, less compassion, but without the terrible actions.

I like China, warts and all. But I know something about the warts, it's not all sweetness and light.

Sea-bugs or sea-cockroaches. Any scuba diver knows that's what they are called.

They didn't have divers that could get the huge over 20+ lb lobsters...

As a kid, I liked going to fish markets and see the lobsters swim slowly in the water tank. That was it. You can't dare me to eat them.

That is horrifying! Those poor crabs! At least in a tank, the get to play with other crabs, and when they are sold, they feel the gentle touch of a real person pulling them out of the tank.

Imagine the indignity of sitting on a shelf in a vending machine!

In a bar I used to go to a few years ago in Orlando we had a "Fresh Lobster" claw crane game. You know the drop the claw game for snatching up stuffed toys? This one was for live lobsters in a tank.

If you caught one, which I did many times, the bar would cook it up for you for free and you had a fresh lobster dinner.

It is difficult for me to rustle up some sympathy for a crab! They are cold blooded reptiles that will rip the flesh off of any creature they can get a hold of, alive or dead. They are nasty bottom feeders.

Killing pigs, horses, dolphins who are clearly sentient beings is infinitely more cruel compared to crabs with a pinheid brain. They dont suffer, their are kept very cold so pretty much nothing other than just stay alive is happening in that pinheid brain.

Lets focus on jew and muslim slaughter practices or dolphin massacres in japan, or whale hunting disguised as science.

People need to eat, people kill animals for meet and we have the responsibillity no to do so inhumanely or without unneeded suffering. There are PLENTY of examples of far worse causes to outcry over.
