CNBC's Jim Cramer: “My dad, a vet, won’t be allowed to vote in Pennsylvania because hes Elderly and Cant Prove his Citizenship
Jim Cramer: Voter ID Law Will Disenfranchise My Dad

CNBC host Jim Cramer said Tuesday that his father was among the estimated 750,000 registered voters in Pennsylvania who lack a state-issued form of identification.

“My dad, a vet, won’t be allowed to vote in Pa. because he does not drive, he is elderly, and can’t prove his citizenship,” Cramer wrote on Twitter.

Many elderly voters, including those who have voted in at least the past fifty elections, will have trouble voting under the law.

A Pennsylvania Supreme Court hearing on the constitutionality of the state’s voter ID law begins on Thursday. The law is also the subject of a Justice Department investigation evaluating whether the law is discriminatory under the Voting Rights Act.

How is the entire country not in the streets about this blatant attempt to disenfranchise voters by the republicans?

Cramer's nuts. His daddy lives in PA and doesn't have a driver's license?
His daddy doesn't have any state issued id? (in NY, if you don't have a driver's license, then you can get a photo id from NYS).

In my opinion, somebody cant get a state issued id - either drivers license or other state identification, they are basically too stupid to vote and shouldn't be voting anyway.

Why don't you get off your lazy ass and go get him a free voting id Jim. If someone is going to take him to vote, since he can't drive, someone can help him obtain a free id.

right, on CNBC all he does is yell like a monkey.

While I was in the market last year I watched him daily, and I am being 100% honest here he was WRONG at least 50% of the time.

At least and believe me and thats no exaggeration

US Citizen is considered a slave in the System. Voting is only for them. You can change your status to State National or US National.

No birth certificate? No military discharge papers? My dad always kept his military discharge papers.

Re: CNBC's Jim Cramer: “My dad, a vet, won’t be allowed to vote in Pennsylvania because hes Elderly and Cant Prove his Citizenship
Well, it's too fucking bad. There are rights AND responsibilities that come along with living in a society and one of those responsibilities is having correct and up-to-date identification. I'm not talking "papers please" and Gestapo crap like that, but you have to show photo ID to buy cigarettes, liquor, hell even to pick up a package at the post office so what's the big deal about doing so in order to prevent voter fraud?
