Are you Kidding Me!? NBC’s ‘Today’ Skips 9/11 Moment Of Silence For Kardashian Interview
Honestly this ade me sick to my stomach. Remember after 9/11 everyone had their flags on the cars, "WE WILL NEVER FORGET"

11 years later we have this:

he cable networks all carried it, with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” carrying it as well. The only national general news program to not carry the moment of silence was NBC’s ‘Today,” which, in an odd bit of counter-programming, opted to air an interview with “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kris Jenner, who talked about the new season of the reality show, and her breast implants.

Is this a trend? During the Olympic opening ceremonies they skipped the tribute to the victims of the 7/7 terror attack (showing a Michael Phelps interview instead).

It would be cool if we had news organizations with integrity, who cared more about delivering important information than attracting those addicted to hearing about Snooki... I suppose that type of business model would be crushed by what we have now, though.

The problem isn't getting over it, it will eventually fade. However our first responders, emts, cops, and firefighters live in an everyday hell of cancer and disease. It took 11 years to finally get some recognition.
Personally, I believe the moment of silence should be for them now. How many of them will die each year because they gave selflessly?

Goes right along with the GOP's skewed outlook....I was listening to Neal Bortz today and he was talking about the "Pizza bearhug pickup"...and said he hoped the guys business failed....WTF...I thought the GOP was about JOBS...and one of their point men says he hopes the guy fails, along with any other business that may support obama???

I swear this presidential race is making me sick...and no I'm not a obama fan
