Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18308331 "What would you buy if the US government declared martial law and you wanted to fulfill your oath to protect the Constitution?" Literally the most insane thing I have ever read in my entire life, and most likely will ever read. I cannot get over how insane some people truly are. Especially when they write something that is as likely to happen as man eating dandelions taking over the planet. Seriously, lay off the crack because your paranoia is taking you over. It's a joke dumb fuck... |

Or you could go to a local DHS fusion office. They would probably be more helpful. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1326993 United States 11/18/2012 08:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My wife didn't like the look of the MP5, so we ended up with the Ruger 10/22. A .22lr pistol, and a shotty are next Quoting: ZeuZ Excellent choice. Hopefully you got the take-down version. I would suggest adding many Ruger BX-25 (25 round) magazines. They cost more, but are the best and cdnninvestments always has an excellent price. Butler Creek "steel lips" come in second place. KelTec is the way to go for a high capacity and reliable .22 pistol. Check out the PLR-22 However, if you wish to keep the handgun a .22 for practice (and don't care about keeping the ammunition the same) and also use it in a pinch for self defense and holster work, I would recommend the KelTec PMR-30 with no hesitation. It is a .22 magnum (.22WMR) pistol with a 30 round in the grip capacity. A hot .22 magnum produces the same ft/lb as a .380 auto. |

No Takedown, I have an archangel nomad stock for it, and she did not like the takedown at all. I have 3 bx-25 mags, and all of them fail to feed any kind of standard ammo. Stingers are the only thing that reliably feed. Which isn't a bad thing and in the event that I would need a 25 round clip, I would want it loaded with Stingers anyways. I'm gonna be buying several Ruger 10 rd mags as they always, always work! From what I've read, the PMR-30 is on backorder essentially until Obama is out of office. We're probably gonna get a walther p22 Q model or a 1911 .22lr. Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, you may die. |

GunnyJoe User ID: 11837226 United States 11/21/2012 10:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | $700? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17892097 I would have to suggest a rifle, an SKS. You CAN also buy a WASR, however, I'd rather have a good SKS than an OK AK. SKS magazines suck though. Still not as durable has the AK. AK cost a little more though. SKS Model "D".Takes AK mags. best of both worlds.Get a used one from a gun show. Good luck " It`s only weird the first time" ;p |

The SKS is excellent as a cheap firearm that is accurate and shoots a common/good round. You can buy both for right at that price point if you look for deals. |
