That would open the door to direct U.S., British, and French involvement, probably in the form of a "no fly zone" over Syria, coupled with intermittent aerial bombardment of key Syrian military installations, like what was done to Libya. Apollo astronauts couldn't have passed through Van Allen's Belt. Van Allen wore suspenders. |

They did not develop and modernise their army, and military, unlike Iran, who did not sit idle, but went about developing missiles etc. What happened to Syria? Lack of understanding of World situation? or an inept corrupt government? |
