Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667.

INDONESIANS CLASH WITH POLICE OUTSIDE US EMBASSY

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) -- Indonesians angered over an anti-Islam film clashed with police outside the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta on Monday, hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails and burning tires outside the mission.

At least one police officer was seen bleeding from the head and being carried to safety by fellow officers. Protesters also tried to ignite a fire truck parked outside the embassy and Molotov cocktails exploded against a fence surrounding the embassy.

Indonesian protesters, police clash near US Embassy
Published: 17/09/2012 at 06:48 PM

Protesters hurled petrol bombs and clashed with Indonesian police outside the US Embassy in Jakarta on Monday, as demonstrations in the world's most populous Muslim nation turned violent.
Hundreds of people in Indonesia protested on Friday and Saturday against a low-budget film insulting to Muslims, but they had been largely peaceful.

That changed as demonstrators lobbed petrol bombs and shouted anti-American slogans. Riot police responded with bursts of water cannon and fired warning shots into the air to disperse about 700 protesters.

Police were also seen kicking or dragging away some protesters, as thick black smoke from petrol bombs wafted into the air. One policeman, bleeding in the face, was taken away in an ambulance.

"America, America go to hell!" demonstrators yelled, some carrying placards reading "death to America" or "behead those who insult Islam"... islampeace

I doubt it will get bad in Bangkok. But, who knows. Muslims are bat shit crazy. I remember in February an Iranian guy staying in Bangkok tried to blow up a bunch of shit and ending up throwing a grenade at people, it bounced back and he blew his own legs off.
