As a trained graphic designer and illustrator, and as a military and aviation enthusiast, my jaw constantly drops at the balls ups that are featured on the news casts of the mainstream media. To them anything with tracks is a 'tank', and a fighter jet is a fighter jet, no matter what country it is serving with, in what context or in what era. Same for all military equipment. So frustrating but nothing new. Mind you, for such a big event you would think Obama and crew could have afforded to hire a graphics team of a higher calibre. |
