After I ditched my Nokia N97, I always said that I'll never buy a Nokia again... till I saw the Lumia 920 compared to the S3 today on Youtube. It looks amazing in my opinion...

Will it take the crown again ?

Mobile devices were at the core of the Arab Spring.

They want to have control over any uprising. So that they can suppress any information from getting out.

Re: >> Apple ready to shut down your iPhone remotely
I have an older I Phone and could care less if they shut me off. Can't wait till my contract is over and get an Windows phone like my hubby. Reason I bought it was it was pretty easy to use and for me that was a plus. I guess I bought into the hype of Apple. Never have owned anything else by them and probably won't. So used to windows based stuff. Oh well you live and learn I guess. Last couple of months my data plan has almost been used up. Can not figure why as I use wireless most of them time. This issue never happened before but last couple months I keep getting emails saying I have used up 90percent of my data. Ugh!

There are two ways to obtain internet data, one is via wireless and the other is by the 'call data' switch you will find in settings...

Now, if you do not switch off call data, and you use wifi, you are downloading data from your priceplan...

Try sliding the settig to off and see if this reduced the high data traffic...

I am having a hard time justifying the purhase of an iphone, and not least becuase if the pricenof the 64g phone, no matter how much slimmer, longer and lighter it is, and soon all will have the 4g 20mbps transfer speeds...

What pisses me off the most is the complete distegard to provide flash player, especally when inferior phones in the market like sansmug 3 onwards and others can display videos and unlike iphones they come with a decent quality camera and a shitty tinny speaker so music is shite when listening to it.

Voice commands are the lowest requirement i have for a phone yet it is the flagshit offering for the muggles who thought is a good idea at the time

I am inclined to agree with the poster, the only phones worth looking at right now, are the sony xperia s and the microsoft nokia lumia 900+ models.

Itunes and app store only offer so much

I had. Millisecond of shock when i saw the xperia s, it is very appealing and it also comes armed with a 12 MEGA PIXEL CAMERA!!! Sexy indeed... Sound is good too yet sony is renowned for making shit hot tv's!!

The lumia 900 is also a sexy little model, and the fact it DOES come with windows means I should be able to use edit and handle office documents with a breeze, so hello pc, bye apple.

I mean no fucking flash player and a 2000+ price plan over 2 years AND a hefty initial payment?

I will wait till the phine market responds with the ass beating offerings yet to come...

The problem with being first is that everyone else just improves on it

You're kidding right?

Yeah ok, this is about as realistically going to be used like those laws that make it illegal to shave your ass while the sun is at a 45 degree angle and reflecting off of a mirror.

I read that the reason flash is excluded is so kids can't watch flash porn. Can't add anything else except Microsoft probably exclude it because of Silverlight.

I've never been an Apple fan, but now we decide people are braindead sheep solely based on what type of phone they have? Right, that makes sense...

Here is Apple's Patent Application:

My phone is sitting here, camera facing me while it charges. I have a creepy feeling that I just might be being watched. Maybe I am.

Imagine if our cell phones were used to spy on us - Oops, I meant gather information for the sole purpose of NAT.S (AV since GPS is already a reality).

Re: >> Apple ready to shut down your iPhone remotely
Im still waiting for my ultra fast processor, ultra thin, ultra light, quadruple flip out multi monitor screen, 24 hour battery laptop/ultrabook to be invented. Money is no object. I own four three laptops already..

But alas, they have to keep pimping out smart phones for the Angry birds and porn and youtube addicts and people that cant read maps...

Ill have to wait ten more years for the laptop/ultrabook of my dreams, if they even make it at all... Laptop/ultra book technology is ignored cause nobody travels and nobody else writes or blogs.

Sat next to a woman putting chocolate chips on her animated cookie smart phone game.. She did it over and over and over and over again for an hour putting on chocolate chips....I was going out of my mind..
