Only 6.9% of the infamous 47% are non-retired people. What's Romney's plan? More taxes for the elderly, while he pays 20% less in taxes than an "employee" would on the same salary? FORTY-SEVEN MILLION PEOPLE ARE ON FOOD STAMPS ALONE, STUPID.... Sorry and what percentage of those people aren't working? Here's the data: --- The most recent Department of Agriculture report on the general characteristics of the SNAP program’s beneficiaries says that in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2010: 47 percent of beneficiaries were children under age 18. 8 percent were age 60 or older. 41 percent lived in a household with earnings from a job — the so-called “working poor.” The average household received a monthly benefit of $287. 36 percent were white (non-Hispanic), 22 percent were African American (non-Hispanic) and 10 percent were Hispanic (Table A.21). [link to www.fns.usda.gov] --- All I can do is ask you to stop being an ideologue and actually LOOK at the data. I am looking at the data, and it says nothing about the race of participants. Here's "DATA" for ya... lets get past worrying about which low income group is on the take. Let's discuss what it is costing the American taxpayer... PER TAX PAYER!!! While other programs are constrained through annual budgets, entitlements get the first call on resources. Other goals such as defense or national security must compete for an increasingly smaller share of what’s left. This “locked in” spending is steadily undermining the economic future of younger generations who face a debt burden of $175,000. The moral and ethical challenge from the entitlement tsunami is undermining our democratic system as more Americans become dependent on the government and other priorities are automatically preempted. [link to www.heritage.org] The federal government’s long-term financial obligations grew by $2.5 trillion last year, a reflection of the mushrooming cost of Medicare and Social Security benefits as more baby boomers reach retirement. That’s double the red ink of a year earlier. Taxpayers are on the hook for a record $57.3 trillion in federal liabilities to cover the lifetime benefits of everyone eligible for Medicare, Social Security and other government programs, a USA TODAY analysis found. That’s nearly $500,000 per household. When obligations of state and local governments are added, the total rises to $61.7 trillion, or $531,472 per household. That is more than four times what Americans owe in personal debt such as mortgages. [link to hotair.com] While Jon's commentary may be hysterical....the problems connected to it are not. We are divided almost down the middle as a country. We are the laughing stock of other countries. It is a sad state of affairs. Unfortunately, just like with our own individual finances, America needs to be responsible for hers. She is not able to repay. If America was trying to get a mortgage right now, she would be turned down cold. You simply cannot give away what you do not have. No matter how "entitled" you are. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24163455 You never see Libfucks ever ever mention the lies and deceit of Obama, which is on very important things like our economy, unemployment rate. THIS JUST IN.......ROMNEY TANNED FACE TO TALK TO LATINOS!!!! THE DRAMA, DAMN RACIST, I HATE HIM!!! THIS JUST IN.......OBAMA SAYS NO TO KEYSTONE PIPELINE!!! WE DON'T NEED JOBS, THEY'RE DESTROYING THE EARTH!! This is a spiritual thing, same thing happened in Nazi Germany. Do you know how I know Romney will talk like a Fiscal Conservative and as soon as he's elected spend money like there is no National debt? Bush W. told me. |

Everyone has a massive extended Family, whether you know them or not does not matter, the fact is most will be in Work and paying their share of Tax that is deducted for the purpose of Benefits and most will never claim that entitlement - There is a huge pool of unclaimed benefits that often remain unclaimed because the employed are employed(1+1) - This allows for those who cannot get work or are actually to ill to work to recieve Monies not from Government or bumming off strangers but directly from your massive extended Family that has been paying the tax down for Decades. 1+1 is'nt in Faux Language neither is Civilization. But then we in the rest of the Western World know that Fox is nothing more than Political Poonerology and tounge in cheek comedy - We are still shocked that viewers of Faux cannot see this, why can you not see this!?
