Numbers don't lie: The real Obamanomics

Twenty years ago, when Democrats tried to oust an incumbent Republican president from office, they questioned his economic stewardship. Vice presidential candidate Al Gore famously bellowed: “Everything that ought to be down is up, and everything that should be up is down!”

The argument seems more relevant today than it was in late 1992.

Republicans are trying to fire an incumbent Democrat president amid the worst economic recovery since the Depression. And the economic news is not getting better for Barack Obama as the race heads into the final lap.

Under Obamanomics everything that should be up is down, and everything that should be down is up!

Here’s a breakdown:

When Obama entered office in January 2009, total nonfarm payroll employment stood at 133.56 million, according to the Labor Department. Last month it totaled 133.30 million – a net decrease of more than 260,000 jobs. Considering the recession ended more than three years ago, any employment shortfall is unusual; but economists call the Obama jobs gap downright shocking.

In 2009, real median household income was $52,195, according to the Census Bureau’s annual survey. Last year it dropped to $50,054 – the lowest level since 1989. When it comes to pay raises, those Americans who are working aren’t just running in place, they’re going backwards – by decades.

When Obama stepped into the Oval Office in January 2009, consumer confidence was 61.2 percent. In August, the index stood at 60.6 percent. At this point in a recovery, economists say confidence should be soaring. But consumers remain unusually glum about the economic outlook.

In January 2009, the jobless rate was 7.8 percent. Last month, unemployment stood at an even higher 8.1 percent, marking the 43rd consecutive month above 8 percent – the longest stretch since the Depression.

Last month the deficit increased $191 billion to $1.16 trillion – topping
$1 trillion for the fourth straight year. At 10 percent of the economy, it’s the highest level of red ink since WWII.

There are 12 million more Americans on food stamps since Obama’s recovery started.

3 in 10 young adults can’t find jobs and are living with their parents – the highest level since the 1950s, according to Pew Research Center.

More than 1 million workers have joined Social Security’s disability rolls over the last three years.

Advocated use of community organizing to bypass 'unsympathetic' courts

In a 1995 video interview, Barack Obama advocated using an economic agenda to achieve a “common ground” that would be “good for all people.”

While Obama does not define what he means by “common ground” during that one interview, in another video interview from the same year, first exposed by WND last week, Obama specifically defined “common ground” as a society built on collectivism, including unions and collective bargaining.

Now Obama is seen speaking in 1995 on “Connie Martinson Talks Books,” which airs on public television. The future politician was promoting his just published book, “Dreams From My Father.” At the time, Obama was a community organizer planning to launch a political career.

More Americans now commit suicide than are killed in car crashes as miserable economy takes its toll

Suicide is the cause of more deaths than car crashes, according to an alarming new study.

The number of people who commit suicide in the U.S. has drastically increased while deaths from car accidents have dropped, making suicide the leading cause of injury death.

Suicides via falls or poisoning have risen significantly and experts fear that there could be many more unaccounted for, particularly in cases of overdose.

'Economic problems can impact how people feel about themselves and their futures as well as their relationships with family and friends,' Feijun Luo of CDC’s Division of Violence Prevention told Bloomberg.

QE3 will not fix America's problems, warns Paul Volcker

Paul Volcker, the former Federal Reserve chairman credited with taming the inflationary threat of the 1970s, has warned that further quantitative easing will fail to repair economies in Europe and the US.

Mr Volcker, addressing a conference at Gleneagles in Scotland, said the decision by the Fed to begin a third round of asset buying — nicknamed QE3 — amounted to the “most extreme easing of monetary policy” he could recall. Mr Volcker’s comments came as the World Trade Organisation intensified the economic gloom by slashing its global growth forecasts.

The organisation said it expected the world economy to grow 2.5pc this year, from a previous 3.7pc forecast, while growth in 2013 would slow from a previous estimate of 5.6pc to 4.5pc.

Although not explicitly directed at Fed chairman Ben Bernanke, Mr Volcker’s words will be seen as a veiled criticism of the limitations of the current strategy being employed by the Federal Reserve.

Last week, the Fed announced a programme of unlimited purchases of mortgage-backed securities in an effort to boost the economy and drive down unemployment. It also said it would hold rates near zero until mid-2015 .

The strategy has elicited rebuke from some critics, including the finance minister of Brazil, who accused the US of potentially reigniting currency wars.

Re: Numbers don't lie: The real Obamanomics~Can We Survive Another 4 Years?
A Second Term Will Be Terminal

Another four years of Obamanomics and Argentina will be crying for us.

With a second term for Obama, the world-leading America we have known and hoped to leave to our children will be gone. Last Friday's jobs report confirms that Obama is well on his way to transforming America into a third world country, with declining living standards and perpetual economic stagnation.

Argentina enjoyed the world's fourth highest per capita GDP in 1929, on par with America at the time. But then the nation lost its way in embracing a leftist, union allied government, which took control of the economy and imposed wildly irresponsible taxes, spending, deficits, and debt. After World War II, the hugely popular Juan Peron came to power and institutionalized the madness. It has been all downhill for Argentina ever since. Do you recognize the pattern?

Today, Argentina ranks 53rd in the world in per capita GDP, according to the International Monetary Fund, 57th in the CIA World Factbook, at a level less than one third that of America. But its national debt at 51% of GDP is actually less than that of the United States under the Obama administration, where we are rocketing towards 100% of GDP by the end of this year, and 200% in 25 years, according to CBO.

Understand folks...
What Obama thinks "Common Ground" is, a what YOU likely think "Common Ground" is, are too very different things.

It has been the dream of the Chicago/Oakland Radical Academic Socialists to CRASH AMERICA'S ECONOMY for a long, long time. So they can bring us THE GREAT MARXIST UTOPIA OF NEXT TUESDAY!(tm), with them in charge, of course.

George Wiley, a Black Radical Socialist from Chicago, formed the National Welfare Rights Organization, (Which later became known as ACORN), with the EXPRESSED GOAL of signing so many people up on public assistance, that it would eventually bankrupt the White-run federal government, and bring us all the Utopia of MARXISM...

Wiley was recruited to the plan by two Columbia University Radical Socialist Profs, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven (Ever heard of THEM?).

The Cloward-Piven approach called for swamping the welfare rolls with new applicants, more than the system could bear. It was hoped that the resulting economic collapse would lead to political turmoil and ultimately socialism.

The National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO) put the Cloward-Piven strategy to work in the streets. Its activities led directly to the welfare crisis that bankrupted New York City in 1975.

Veterans of NWRO went on to found the Living Wage Movement and the Voting Rights Movement, both of which rely on the Cloward-Piven strategy, ACORN, and former NWRO employee WADE RATHKE (ever heard of HIM? VERY close to Obama, and a regular White House Visitor).

Both the Living Wage and Voting Rights movements depend heavily on financial support from George Soros's Open Society Institute. (There's that name again! GEORGE SOROS! Why does his name always pop up associated with Orgs dedicated to creating CHAOS, that he makes money from???)

REMEMBER SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT FOLKS...

Today's Democrat Party has been hijacked by the Soros-financed Radical Academic Socialists, who are hell-bent on DESTROYING AMERICA..
