GOP begging ron paul supporters to vote Mitt...

Why do the Ron Paul supporters have to concede? If the GOP wants its party to be in the white house, drop mittens and get a real man in there

I have been a Ron Paul supporter for years. I even campaigned door to door for him in 2008. That was before it was cool to be a Ron Paul supporter. I took lots of grief. I was called a racist & a tard. But... I didn't vote for Obama in 2008 & I sure won't vote for him in Novemeber. I will vote for Romney. Why? I voted for Ross Perot, we lost. I may not love Romney, but our country is on the verge of colapse & I believe we are moving toward a very, very dangerous place. We have been fundamentally changed into something I don't even recognize. Under Obama's lack of leadership, we are standing on the edge of distruction.

So.... I will vote for Mitt. And contrary to the Lame Stream Media's belief, I am a woman, I am a mother, I am a wife, I am a grandmother & by God I am INTERESTED in what has happened in MY country over the last 12 years. No, I don't watch the View & I could careless what Opra thinks. Yes, I was a bleeding heart liberal for years, however, this is no longer liberalism, this is Socialism. I never voted for either Bush, nor did I vote for Clinton either time. I had been a registered Democrat for 39 years. I changed my party this year, I am now a Republican, I did it for Ron Paul.

I certainly hope that other RP supporters will consider that Obama is planning on exploiting us RP supporters. If we don't vote.....he wins. If we vote for a 3rd party....he wins. How we vote or don't vote will have the largest effect on our beloved country. We have the power, I won't tell you how to vote, I can only ask you to take your vote very seriously. While I didn't think it possible, Obama is just as bad as Bush, if not worse!

90 % of the paulites I know including myself are voting Obama. The reason is simple 2 parts.

1) punish the RNC for their behavior and those that support the behavior.
2) we would rather see it all collapse quickly then go through more lingering decline

No way in hell are my RP friends voting for Obama. We're gravitating towards Johnson and a write-in of RP.

And what will you do when Romney announces that we need to have another stimulus in order to spark the economy? What about when he tells you he must keep obamacare? What about when he starts a warn on porn? Or when he invades Iran, even though they didn't attack us or Israel? How about when he tells you that we must raise the debt ceiling again and he's going to keep bernanke in the fed?

You go ahead and vote for Romney. And when you get absolutely NO CHANGE FROM OBAMA, you can remember that another woman, mother, grandmother, lover of the Constitution and country said:

I TOLD YOU SO.

Meanwhile, ill be canceling out your vote anyway with a vote for Johnson. Because I have the hope that IF Johnson were to get in office, he would put Paul in charge of the treasury and nominate Judge Napolitano to the SC.

I don't hate you for what you're about to do, and I won't try to find a way to make you pay for what you are about to do. I sure would like that kindness in return, but I know instead ill be put on the list of enemy combatants along with all my fellow patriots on this thread. Godspeed to you!

Is the “principle” involved in casting a libertarian vote versus a vote for Romney worth another four years of Obama? How would an Obama re-election affect the liberties and constitutional republic you hold so dear? Can America, as you know it, survive an Obama second term? Is a Romney presidency a worse eventuality than an Obama re-election?


Romney will either have enough votes to win or he won't. Period. Too many men and women have died - some horrendous deaths - to ensure my right to vote my CONSCIENCE. Voting libertarian doesn't "take" anything Romney any more than it "takes" anything from Obama. If Romney gets the majority of states, he wins - fair and square. If Obama does, he does. If Johnson does, he does (that's be really cool)!

If one performs an honest analysis and assessment, libertarian principles will be further set back if Obama is granted another term to pursue his agenda. While Romney may not push forward the libertarian agenda as far, fast or forcefully as a Ron Paul… is it better to guarantee the election of one who would move it backwards?

See response in red above - the logic in this line of debate is flawed: Voting for Johnson doesn't necessarily "guarantee the election" for Obama - and if does, then Romney doesn't deserve to be president because he didn't get enough votes. Period.

Well, there's no way I'll vote for "mittens", and after the way the GOP treated Ron Paul, I will always vote for an independant, I'm thoroughly disgusted with the republican party, and don't get me started on the demotards, they might as well rename themselves the american communist party, as that would be the first time in their lives that they ever spoke the truth.

It is your right to vote for whomever you wish as it is my right to do the same. I do not blame those that voted for Obama in 2008, they were misled. As for the list of enemy combatants? I do see this if Obama is re-elected, I just don't see it with Romney. But, who really knows, I could be wrong. I'm already on a list, I had a RP sign in my yard for months & a bumper sticker for 4 years. So, join the crowd.

he fully supports ndaa and said so
he supports the patriot act
he thinks the government doesn't do enough to protect us, he's going to ramp it up, not turn it down
and with a republican congress he'll be way, way worse than obama or bush
