Don't believe everything you read. The mind is the deceiver, the heart knows the truth. thumbs

Jeremiah 17:7-9 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Anhedonic, You are trusting in your feelings and THAT is an error. You're heart is not a guide to truth, nor are your feelings, as verse 9 says above, the heart is decietful. How many times in life have we as individuals did what we "felt" was the "right" thing to do and ended up with problems, pain and heartache? Most of our troubles in life as individuals come from not obeying the truth but by doing things by how we feel.

2 Corinthians 5:7
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 11
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Isaiah 45:22-25"Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other. 23"I have sworn by Myself,The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance. 24"They will say of Me, 'Only in the LORD are righteousness and strength ' Men will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him will be put to shame.25"In the LORD all the offspring of Israel Will be justified and will glory."

Isaiah 48:3-8"I declared the former things long ago,And they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed then Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass. 4"Because I know that you are obstinate, And your neck is an iron sinew And your forehead bronze, 5Therefore I declared them to you long ago, Before they took place I proclaimed them to you, So that you would not say, 'My idol has done them, And my graven image and my molten image have commanded them.' 6"You have heard; look at all this. And you, will you not declare it? I proclaim to you new things from this time, Even hidden things which you have not known. 7"They are created now and not long ago; And before today you have not heard them, So that you will not say, 'Behold, I knew them.' 8"You have not heard, you have not known, Even from long ago your ear has not been open, Because I knew that you would deal very treacherously; And you have been called a rebel from birth.

Isaiah 46:9-13 "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; Iam God, and there is no one like Me,10Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; 11Calling a bird of prey from the east,The man of My purpose from a far country.Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.12"Listen to Me, you stubborn-minded, Who are far from righteousness.13"I bring near My righteousness, it is not far off; And My salvation will not delay And I will grant salvation in Zion And My glory for Israel.

Isaiah 41:26 Who has declared this from the beginning, that we might know? Or from former times, that we may say, "He is right!"? Surely there was no one who declared, Surely there was no one who proclaimed, Surely there was no one who heard your words.

Isaiah 48:16-19"Come near to Me, listen to this: From the first I have not spoken in secret, From the time it took place, I was there And now the Lord GOD has sent Me, and His Spirit." 17Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel,"I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit,Who leads you in the way you should go.18"If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river,And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.19"Your descendants would have been like the sand,And your offspring like its grains; Their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence."

Isaiah 43:8-13 Bring out the people who are blind, even though they have eyes,
And the deaf, even though they have ears. 9All the nations have gathered together So that the peoples may be assembled. Who among them can declare this And proclaim to us the former things? Let them present their witnesses that they may be justified, Or let them hear and say, "It is true." 10"You are My witnesses," declares the LORD "And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He
Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. 11"I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me. 12"It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses," declares the LORD, "And I am God. 13"Even from eternity I am He, And there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?"

Isaiah 41:21-24 "Present your case," the LORD says. "Bring forward your strong arguments," The King of Jacob says. 22Let them bring forth and declare to us what is going to take place; As for the former events, declare what they were, That we may consider them and know their outcome. Or announce to us what is coming; 23Declare the things that are going to come afterward, That we may know that you are gods; Indeed, do good or evil, that we may anxiously look about us and fear together.24Behold, you are of no account, And your work amounts to nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.

Isaiah 42:18-20
18Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see. 19Who is blind but My servant, Or so deaf as My messenger whom I send? Who is so blind as he that is at peace with Me, Or so blind as the servant of the LORD? 20You have seen many things, but you do not observe them; Your ears are open, but none hears.

Isaiah 65:1-2"I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me I said, 'Here am I, here am I,' To a nation which did not call on My name. 2"I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts.

Isaiah 45:15-19Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior!16They will be put to shame and even humiliated, all of them; The manufacturers of idols (FALSE GODS) will go away together in humiliation.17Israel has been saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You will not be put to shame or humiliated To all eternity. 18For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), "I am the LORD, and there is none else. 19"I have not spoken in secret,In some dark land; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob,'Seek Me in a waste place'; I, the LORD, speak righteousness,Declaring things that are upright.

Proverbs 1:22-33 "How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?
And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge? 23"Turn to my reproof, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. 24"Because I called and you refused, I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention; 25And you neglected all my counsel And did not want my reproof; 26I will also laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your dread comes, 27When your dread comes like a storm And your calamity comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. 28"Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but they will not find me, 29Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD. 30"They would not accept my counsel, They spurned all my reproof. 31"So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way And be satiated with their own devices. 32"For the waywardness of the naive will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them. 33"But he who listens to me shall live securely And will be at ease from the dread of evil."

Isaiah 65:12 I will destine you for the sword, And all of you will bow down to the slaughter Because I called, but you did not answer; I spoke, but you did not hear. And you did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight."

Jeremiah 2:19
"Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will reprove you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to forsake the LORD your God,And the dread of Me is not in you," declares the Lord GOD of hosts.

Isaiah 6:8-13 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Psalm 50:15-23 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me."16But to the wicked God says, "What right have you to tell of My statutes And to take My covenant in your mouth? 17"For you hate discipline, And you cast My words behind you. 18"When you see a thief, you are pleased with him, And you associate with adulterers. 19"You let your mouth loose in evil And your tongue frames deceit. 20"You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son. 21"These things you have done and I kept silence; You thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes. 22"Now consider this, you who forget God, Or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be none to deliver. 23"He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God."
