Another cosmic ray spike! Check out the moscow cosmic ray station! | |
Mr information User ID: 1337378 Belgium 09/29/2012 05:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The 23 and 24 september there was a massive cosmic ray spike it was so huge they actually deleted the data on some neutron monitors but it stayed on others... So we know we had a cosmic burst beginning this week and what do you know again another one today altough less impressive as in the beginning of the week! Check it out before it get's deleted.... [link to helios.izmiran.rssi.ru] [link to neutronm.bartol.udel.edu] As i said just a moment ago it's less impressive than the ones in the beginning of the week. But the most petrinent question is why do these cosmic ray spikes happen? And why are they increasing in frequency and numbers? These are the improtant questions to be asked. Is it holes in the heliopause a weakening perhaps of the sun's magnetic field? Or is something pushing through the heliopause causing more cosmic rays to enter? |
