lol so what are your thoughts on the power company remotely accessing your furnace and preventing it from turning on?

perhaps one day, the smart meter attached furnaces/ airconditioners may not turn back on..

We were NEVER given a choice. They came by and changed it. I asked about it, and was told it was being done because it was cheaper, more reliable, and was tamper resistent.

I asked about what was going to happen to all the meter readers. They are out a job, but my electric bill would be smaller. My bill is now 30% bigger.

It was a fast install for sure. I was sleeping when it happened and woke up when the power went out. it was only off for maybe 2 minutes at most.

So what is the difference bewtween digital meter {v} smart meter?

One was installed on my house and I have not had a bill in three months. I called about it and they said they are having problems with it and will eventually send a bill.

I noticed the upgrade install and I walked up to the guy and all I said was "I don't want a smart meter". He took the old one off and said my air conditioning would still work. 2 days later I had the air conditioning guy out to fix it and he said the guy must of crossed some wires taking it off and blown a fuse. I dunno, at least it happened when it wasn't too hot outside. No one can take control of my heat or air now. I haven't seen a bill in the mail for the fuse yet either.

Just dont sleep near the wall where one is installed...
