He's also not giving young women very much credit. I don't think it was necessary to go into the whole bully story, but still, I felt bad for that woman because what did the guy writing it really hope to achieve? Let's put the blame for child obesity exactly where it belongs - on the parents who buy the food. I'd be a lot more worried about someone being raised by a guy like the one who wrote the email than the news anchor. I see it every day in the doctors offices. We had to order extra wide wheelchairs and reconstruct our hallways in some of our offices to get these lardasses into the exam rooms. Hospitals are having to get super ambulances to accomadate these people and they get offended when we cannot weigh them and send them to the zoo because that is the only place that can weigh an animal over 400lbs. This is the elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about because somebodies feelings will get hurt. I'm sorry I fail to see how he was bullying her. She is not setting a good example anymore than a 90lb supermodel is. It's ok when we bash magazines for showing them but having a supersized news woman and saying something is not ok? And obese on a doctors chart? She's obese on anybodies chart. I'm sorry I think her reaction was over the top to the letter. She got told the truth and she can lie and say it didn't get to her but it did. Not bullying.... Go clean your teeth, go cut your hair, go change your clothes, go shave, go get a fake tan because you are too pale.... Don't like being told what to do? Don't like being told something about you is bad or negative... Right, then don't do it to others just because your little mind does not like what it sees and would like to change the person for the sake of appearances according to your own preferences. Are you fat? I bet not, so therefore be happy with what you have and stop telling others how they should be. If you have a slender body then it should make no difference to you how others are, concern yourself with you and leave other people alone... Oh why do I bother, humans have become collectively hopeless out of free choice. |

Secondly, it's reporters and TV in general that have glamorized skinny. So she is a victim of the very device she represents. Third, Obama care will render her Obese in a second and probably triple obese. There for, her co pay and benefits will suffer accordingly. Bottom line, if she refuses to lose weight it will cost her family tons of money and eventually her life! With 3 daughters I'm afraid she won't be able to help much as typically when one is her size this early in life by 45, they are almost crippled. Sad! |
