Course I noticed that's why I asked him to keep reading, there's new info every day on this sinkhole, it's on going.

well, according to this August 19 article: that drilling
was not scheduled to be completed (and actually break into the cavern) until September 29.

Yes. the drilling was completed on the 29th and samples
and video have been taken. and, of course, none of the
results of their findings will be reported to the public.

what are these bubbling sites?? what do they mean?

the real vexing problem right now is that (outside of the cavern) there is natural gas starting to seep up out
of the ground. and these "bubbling sites" where the
gas is spontaneously coming out of the ground have been mapped.

i think it means that high pressure natural gas is coming from a deposit deep in the earth's crust,
and is making its way to the surface through fissures and
cracks in the rock strata.

and, even the morons at Texas Brine couldn't possibly
screw-up so bad as to make this happen.

I agree with that, the big question I have is, how do you know this gas is coming from deep down and not say from all the shale fracking going on, as well as all the water they pump down and leave there. That's got to go somewhere. Gas from fracking might have built up over time. I was thinking the water from this is what disolved the cavern and perhapes even the whole dome from the bottom.

no. fracking gas would not be high pressure, and would
not be moving around a lot. (high pressure makes the
gas come out, but once it's out of the high pressure
pipe the gas is not high pressure)

i think this has to be from a deed high pressure gas deposit
because if it was low pressure it would just go into
solution into the rock and soil on the way up. so, with
this stuff not only does all of the rock and soil now
have to be saturated with gas, but there is even still
enough pressure left for some of it to fart out at the
surface as little bubbles. (after it's long journey from
down under) note: that's just a quick thumbnail sketch.

and, i'm only guessing now, but my guess is that the
authorities are alarmed because: with high pressure
being involved at the source, then this thing can only
get worser and worser.

well, i just checked the Bayou Corne imagery and it's dated 11/16/2011

They have hit high pressure before,
You can not easily control the pressure ( called a well blow out) it you drill straight over the top down.
If you drill horizontally the pressure is much easier to control and you don't have such a great risk of a blow out.

I think they are going to find emmense pressure which ever way they drill.
I know the gas cavern has collapsed but what they are not telling everyone is that since the pressure has been shown to effect the underground water aquifier in that area that can mean only one thing.........

The entire salt dome is sinking.
That is the only logical outcome since they are getting such outrageous pressure reading.
One gas cavern is not going to cause over 990 lbs per sq inch in pressure, but it the entire dome, the whole thing is sinking.....that is doom for sure
And much like BP's disaster, too much pressure makes sealing it up impossible especially since the Aquifer that is showing the pressure is porous like limestone.

That would be like trying to plug a leaky faucet with a wet sponge.

Man can't fix that no matter how much money or drilling they throw at it.

Best to just get everyone out and buy their land at a decent cost and let mother nature finish sinking her dome.


This is something even that guy who put out that "I know it all" youtube video has not figured out yet.

I forgot to add.... another thing that tells me the entire salt dome is sinking is the face that it is showing effects up to 4 miles away.
The gas cavern would not effect things that far away.

There are several things that has come out. The sinkhole has spread and dissolving the road nearby and natural Gas pressure is at its highest level so far 1000psi

ok this maybe far fetched but surly they didn't cause the Macondo well to start leaking to relieve pressure off the fault area.
