Maybe you should go vote and tell yourself you're making a difference to calm yourself. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24299982 No, not unstable, thank you. Just very, very frustrated. I read the posts by thousands on this board about how things are going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket, how the Illuminati control everything, how it's all the fault of America/Israel/NWO/Small Furry Kittens. But an incredible number of you can't even be bothered to vote. Nope, we'll just complain, thank you very much. No point in trying to make a difference - I'd rather just sit here on my butt and whine all day. |

I do not know what the voting rights in Russia were circa 1930, but if they were able to and did vote, they had the right to complain. If they could have voted and did not, they have no right to complain. If they had no voice in the matter (that is to say, they could not vote at all) then yes, they have the right to complain. All they had to do was make it a little difficult and you folded. Maybe the vote is rigged. But maybe..They are watching to see how many will still believe enough in an America to try. If less than 50 % show.... Then I guess they figure 50 % gave up. Only 50 % left to go to demoralize. If the 50% who were not going to vote.. voted 3rd party.. well.. maybe there would be a change. Try... |

However, if someone had a gun to my head, and said vote or die! By now, because of all of the shit and harassment I have received for not being pleased with EITHER of the candidates...I would vote OBABLA...Just to piss everyone in GLP off. Truly I think they are both the devil. Everyone still want me to vote????? |

Why do we get to choose our slave masters? We should be able to choose to not be a slave. “We must keep the people busy with political antagonisms." “We’ll therefore speed up the question of reform (of tarrifs within) the Democratic Party; and we’ll put the spotlight on the question of protection …(for) the Republican Party." “By dividing the electorate this way, we’ll be able to have them spend their energies at struggling amongst themselves, on questions that, for us, have no importance whatsoever." - United State Bankers magazine, 1892. |
