When the h1n1 paranoia hit, they had me freaked out. The one elementary school closed for a week because a couple kids had it. So I did get my three little ones vaccinated that year. 4 hours after my 4yr old received the shot, she had a serious migraine and started vomiting. Here we are 2 yrs later and she has had about 5-7 migraines a year. It's awful!

The doc said it wasn't from the shot, but I call bullshit. That was no coincidence.

Now here we are back to flu season. I'm freaked out because they are making it a big deal again.... Uh, plus I visit here which is bad for me. I feel terrible because I, worried if I get them the shot, that I could be making it worse. If I don't get it, then what if they come down with the flu and pneumonia? It's driving me nuts. Then a study came out and said vitamin d doesn't do shit to prevent the flu. I'm driving myself crazy. :(

A no more preposterous idea than yours, that there's something in the flu vaccine that makes you "addicted" to them so that if you don't get one you will get sick, is the idea that maybe the introduction of live pathogens, for me, has had the effect of kicking my immune system into high gear, and stimulating antibody production to protect against even a simple cold.

Yeah, I think I'll follow the advice of a bunch of people I don't know on a conspiracy site where not one iota of evidence has been presented, and STOP doing what has worked for me, just because you say so.

Pretty right on with that one! My doc pushes the flu shot too, but I wont take it. My grandma always got the flu with the flu shot. it made her immune system weaker,and she passed away last year. I miss her terribly. I wished she hadn't of gotten the flu shot. The meds they had her on made her sick too. The flu shot is like playing russian roulette.

They always try to scare people to get flu vaccines using the fake CDC numbers of 30,000 people a year die of flu and so on just think back to the great fake swine flu pandemic of 2009 we had news stories afterwards talking about it saved lives cause it was so weak and pushed out the other strains.

Just stick with your Vitamin D and other naturals! The study thats just come on the scene about Vitamin D been useless had a few flaws in it that I think should count.. One was the fact there was a high number of people on both sides who has flu vaccines and even though they say you don't get flu from them so many people do and the 2nd flaw IMO is the fact there were dips in the blood levels of vitamin D and I don't know about anyone else but if you have ever been taking vitamins and then just stop you sort of get a mild cold.

That's what it was... The swine flu that had us in panic. I'm really praying we can slide by another year with no flu. My husband did get the shot a couple weeks ago, but the high risk area are the kids schools.

No, I already had the flu here and it's gone for another 6 or so months. The flu was really BAD this year. I felt like absolute shit. The strain of flu seems to be getting stronger each year. I could have received a flu shot, but I would rather harden up and strengthen the old immune system.
