Thanks for the links. I had a hysterectomy at 45 and subsequently early menopause. Shortly after, i started medication for depression and anxiety. At 53, I finally have the depression and anxiety under control, but I hurt all over. This is my experience. Maybe they are related. Quoting: Renegade (Me too) I was about 46 when i had mine. Like I said I had used the copper 7 IUD for birth control when i was younger. I believe it was what caused my fibroid tumor. It is only common sense now that anything that causes continuous inflammation in ones uterus would have long range implications. I went to Planned Parenthood and they put it in for free. I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Little did I know what was awaiting me. Afterwards I felt like I got hit by a mack truck. Aches and pains and extreme fatigue, I wanted to die. The gynecologist made it sound like a piece of cake as i wanted to keep my ovaries. But he talked me out of it.
