I really wish Mr. Obama wasn't a compulsive liar and kept his promises.

He might have actually gotten my vote if he did all the things he stated.

But he didn't so he must go, as he even says.

anaiah, we all know they're both liars. you don't get ahead in politics without lying. the point is that obama said he'd resign if he didn't turn the economy around. i'd like to see him live up to his words.

Those would be considered broken campaign promises not lies. A lie is the misrepresentation of known facts.

Obama saying he will cut the deficit in half is a broken promise not a lie.

Romney saying his healthcare platform covers pre-existing conditions is a lie.

Romney saying his Tax plan to cut 20% of taxes across the board is not a 5 trillion dollar tax cut is a lie.

it's "then", not "than"

Romney also said he wouldn't be worthy of being president if he paid in more in taxes than he needed to, then it was proven that he paid in more taxes than he needed to.

It's all spin. It's all bullshit. Neither of them deserve the seat, and they'll both make the country shittier. It's just a choice of which tax bracket you want to make it shittier for.

It's not too late for Obama to keep that promise. The way I remember it from the 2008 campaign , he said he would deserve only one term if he did not cut the deficit in half and do the other things he promised.
