Have you ever ridden your bike for three days in a row of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass free on six stages. Seeing everyone from Dell McCurry, Vince Gill, and Jimmie Vaughn to Elvis Costello and 30 more bands all for free. For the past 10 years this has been going on. I walk in to the shows with no security my back pack stuffed with IPA from Petaluma and no one stopping me. Freedom and happiness can be found in California well at least in Nor Cal. Dont care much for So Cal. I fucking love living here my quality of life is huge. There is nowhere in the USA I would rather live. And if you say Communist one more time I am sicking the Old time police after you and they will send you to the funny farm. Or maybe you are already there. Apple, Google, Yahoo and Intel to name just a few mega corps that create one of the best economies in the world and guess what you jealous fuck they are more capitalist then your corner gas station raising prices on your ass for spot market speculation. So I must say thank god for people like you because that means your sorry ass will not be anywhere near where I live and enjoy life to the fullest. So stay away and think what you want because people like you are not welcome anyway so live and let live just not as my neighbor. I am more on the Conservative side, but I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Our lawmakers may suck, but I love it here. We have everything anyone would want. All the things that attract people to other states...we have. Deserts Mountains Valleys Beaches/Ocean Lakes Rivers Rural areas Inner cities Suburbs State Parks National Parks Hunting areas for the hunters Conservation areas for the enviros. We have it all....which I guess is why I can imagine haters are hatin. No one hates on the little guy. Only those on top. |

It is like Marie Antonette "let them eat cake". My career has taken me to just about every county in California so I know what I'm talking about. There are the ruling elite along the coast and So. Cal. and there is everywhere else.Most of the commoners are being crushed by high taxes and unemployment. The rural areas in many counties are totally red neck. In the valley it is basically little Mexico once you are a mile or two out of Fresno,Bakersfield,Modesto,Visalia. Poverty and third world conditions. Sacramento is the capital where the only answer is more taxes. The state is broke and the latest gas fiasco is another example of the asleep @ the wheel by California government . The state waited over one month to act on the gasoline situation because the refinery fire @ Richmond was over one month ago. The price of fuel is a reflection on how business friendly a state is ,ours is the highest and we are #1 as the least business friendly. If the November election brings another round of additional taxation you will see a mass exodus of anyone with the means to do so. |
