How much time do you spend posting to this and other forums?

I used to try and get involved on forums but theres so much god damn posturing and peoples egos are so far out in the stratosphere that I don't even waste my time anymore..


I don't mind posting here once in awhile because the vibe is a little more forgiving... But yeah... any other forum, it's just a fucking epeen fest where everyone sits around and lectures each other on tit for tat bullshit so they can look cool in front of their chosen forum "communities" that they really don't give a shit about to begin with.

Whatever...

Yeah, there's just too many people that think they their opinion is the final verdict on everything. And forums seem to be haven for those types of personalties. The know it alls, the "everyone around me is an idiot" types, and people who need attention and validation from people they don't know on a regular basis. You also have the people that are looking for any chance to prove you wrong about the most mundane of shit.

I just realized what a huge waste of time it is. It's like that comics where the guy is at the computer and his wife is saying "come to bed" and he says.. "Hold on, someone is wrong on the Internet" - That guy is like 95% of hard core forum/Internet users. No thanks

I think the key is to find a balance between the virtual world and the real world !

Don't get too entangled in videos games, Facebook, Twitter, GLP that you lose touch with your friends and forget how to socialize in real life but also don't make a phobia out of the virtual environment and live like 20 years ago !

If you have enough self discipline you can find a way to make the best of both worlds !
