I don't think you can post a link to Reuters here, but you all are very capable of looking it up if you wish.

If Paul Ryan and Romney both do a very good job in their upcoming debates...Romney will win.

What happens after that?
 Quoting: Wash

Don't exactly know what happens after that, aside from mass race riots, torched cities, and perhaps an economy with a real chance of getting on its feet.

Libs on Wall Street who voted for Owhat'shisface are not voting for him this time.

Not that there are many of those on The Street... .

You people can't really believe that anything will change no matter which puppet wins, do you? Tell me you aren't that stupid anymore. Do you really not understand that they both bat for the same team and that they both already know who wins? Give this $#!+ up. Don't show up at the polls or if you do, don't vote for these clowns, EITHER ONE!!!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23651594

Since the left can no longer come up with good talking points about the last 4 years they have started trying to make people believe that right is wrong and good is evil.

Yea, you are hoping that no one goes to vote aren't you?
 Quoting: _2 swords_

If you are implying I am a Barry supporter you got your head up your ass farther than I thought! We have never had a worse President. Each one is a little worse because they are working for those behind the curtain pulling their strings. If your Mormon God Romney wins, he'll be even worse than Barry! You are a dumb ass if you can't see that by now.

Didn't you have a wife that abandoned you and your children Brief? I'm positive that you did. You made the mistake of talking about it on this very forum once.

I suppose that your ex-wife MUST have been black according to your theories and the ideals that you have about blacks. Either that, or she ended up with a black guy after having left you.

So, I sense a bit of irony here as your life seems to contradict your logic.

What is the whole purpose of a business? It's to fill a want or need by the public...that's why capitalism is awesome!

By providing a product or service people want or need I can then buy products and services I want or need...it's perfect.

 Quoting: Wash

Easy there. Romney supporters, myself included... nevermind Romney's team better NOT get too excited just yet.

Only 2 short weeks ago, coming out of Bill Clinton's speech in Charlotte, the premature Lybia gaffe and the 47% comment, Romney looked like dead man walking. Tea Party wing who never really warmed up to him even were calling for Romney's strategist and consultant team to resign en masse.

Think about it: debates usually don't matter all that much and incumnbent Presidents always seem to look a little too distracted and stiff, including Raegan vs. Mondale, Bush Jr vs. Kerry.

So because of one debate, during which Obama didn't even commit a gaffe or utter a controversial view-point, mind you.... Romney was greatly aided by very LOW expectations for him by the liberal media, the battle-ground state Indeptendents and even his own party. Going forward, expectations will go up dramatically, so will the pressure on Romney to sustain the high level, which he has never been able to do in his long political career - including during both the 2008 and 2012 GOP primaries that he almost lost despite very weak fields.

So if Romney can get a borderline miraculous swing in one day like that, think about how much he can LOSE if he fails to wow people in another debate and/or if Obama has a great town-hall meeting debate performance (with the help of Martha Radditz, naturally)

Hell, I would be more worried about the rookie Paul Ryan collapsing under enormous expectations -- and walking straight into crazy-like-a-fox Granpa Biden TRAP tonight. Debating is what Ryan is supposed to be great at, while Biden is seen as a human gaffe-generator, so if the debate is close, if Biden uses dirty tricks, it will be seen as a Ryan-Romney ticket loss. Beware.

And of course, who knows what Soros, Inc will pull off in terms of releasing hidden-video of Romney's past, running clever commericals in key counties with Hollwyood's help; having massive grass-roots get out the vote campaign, possibly even tempering with voting machines and using Black Panther-style intimidation.

Moreover, you might even see a deal struck with Iran to publicly pretend like they agree to Obama's terms to stop their nuke program right before the elections. Right there is your October Surprise.

In short, hold your horses everybody. This false sense of entitlement and hubris caused Obama to lose 1st debate. But it works both ways: polls can turn on a dime on Romney if he falls into complacency. Remember, sitting presidents

You're sorry for the US?

That's hilarious. Oh yeah, the young America has "only" been arguably THE greatest, most powerful nation in the history of the world over the last century, starting with the Panama Canal. Certanly since 1944.

Yep, the same America without whose benevolent protective umbrella, you "enlightened" Canadian pussies would be just another lifeless totalitarian vassal province speaking some combination of:

-german
-russian
-chinese

making even more horrible boring movies than you already do.

Oh yeah, you feel sorry for US. Thanks for the laughter.

And you're welcome.

In fact, your brand of "crazy" and idealism is something that this world can use more of.

My point is that despite all American and indeed human nature's flaws... on the balance, America in the last century was THE greatest, wealthiest, most techinically advanced but ALSO most diverse, most crazy-fun exciting, dynamic, cultiurally-envied nation that the world has seen. Ever. Literally, ever.

You can't take that away or dismiss it with childish rhetoric no matter how much you may want to.

And part of the Amazing American Story has been free-market capitalism that you seem to hate so much. And yes, banks, corporations and the dreaded Military-Industrial Complex have also been the engines and guarantors of American succcess.

I will concede America is not perfect. Great Recession has exposed some of the systemic flaws that need to be addressed going forward, if only incrementally.

But place is perfect? Maybe the Stalinish Paradise of North Korea? I mean, they don't have a Central Bank or Rothschild, so if Conpiracy crazies around here are to be believed, North Korea should be flourishing.

And before someone points to China... China despite boasting their 3,000 year history, enormous population, with super-high IQ..... was a GIANT bucket of unrelenting, unmitigated SUCK that could be conquered by much smaller nations anytime they felt like it.

Until Chairman Mao kicked the bucket and Deng Xioping begged America to help implement capitalist system, American tech in practically every field, open American universities to Chinese students...and generally give China much-needed international legitimacy on the international stage, IMF, WB and so on. Without which, Deng Xioping's efforts would be futile.

And over the next 35 years China still had to STEAL massive amount of tech and secrets from US and allies.

And China still will never be what US was and is. Not culturally, not anyhow. Just a small example.
