In the second picture (00:21:35)it jumped onto the unknown object. Eeenteresting... obvious bug is obvious? actually, is just debunked it myself: it`s dirt on the lens (the black spot is just below on the earlier picture) |

No, it's not alien. No, it's not a used condom. No, it's not from a Mars bar. No, it's not Obama's birth certificate and if it is, you should be very phucking worried right about now. It's torn plastic. Looks like it's from an MRE. clearly you can see this was torn off. Go find a hard piece of plastic and tear it across and see the the same results. There is writing on it. It will take a few weeks for some genius to decipher the writing, and decipher they will, because the letters look familiar. Could this be from the rover? yes. And even if it's not, what is the likelihood that they will say it is from the rover? Very likely. |

Must have came off the rover or any other parts that were involved in the rover's landing. IMHO. Great observation, especially considering prior to this we were stuck on the 'used alien condom' theory. |

Whatever the speck is, it moved from the ground to the mystery object. I think it's most likely a windblown bit of dirt. It's good to be open-minded, just don't let your brain fall out. |

It is clean and ontop of the rocks so it somehow landed there. Fell or flew recently. To me it looks like a sliver or rock that I've seen before. Doesn't look like insulation or fish to me, it looks sharp, solid, and lifeless. Kyle |

These were in compartments on the Rover. Could easily be from the Rover. But...what the hell, I have no clue what it is...it does look like plastic to me. The waffling on the side of the piece is the same make when you tear a thicker/harder plastic. Like wire wrap. The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" The Ol'Timer shook his head and smiled. " No, they would be grabbing their guns". WANT CHANGE??? Quit paying your income tax. |

Quoting: --Voltaic-- In complete disbelief, she said she would fuck him if she was able to physically touch the Mars Rover that day. A quick walk in the desert and she was laid. seriously though, anyone notice the little holes in the soil? Looks like insect tunnels. Also pointing out, moisture is required to keep the soil structured the way it is. Enough moisture to keep organism alive below the surface. was thinking the same thing.. but also if you look at it, the shadowing is a bit wrong to me. if 'it' is lying on top of the round rocks we should see more shadows on the ground... |

FunCoTech User ID: 25745572 Australia 10/17/2012 06:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's a piece of trash from a human on an island on EARTH! Why does everyone assume it's a picture from mars? Because they said it was? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17769550 Actually them making a fuss and taking lots of pics convinces me that it is actually Mars, cos they wouldn't do that if it was just garbage in the desert somewhere. On the other hand if it was alien you would expect them to classify it secret. One explanation that makes sense is that it's a lead up to Obama announcing finding "Ancient Ruins" on Mars as predicted in that other thread (time traveller...) |
