So, I'm still smoking, and I still KNOW it is stupid. Got a vape mod, and I am indeed cutting down with it.

The 3 months I flat quit were like hell. I couldn't think. Couldn't focus. Couldn't move sometimes. Actual panic attacks and literal rolling around on the floor.

It's 87 shades of evil what the nicotine monster does to a person.

The only way to "feel" normal is to intake nicotine. Jacked up for certain.

I did the chantix. I started to feel like life was not worth living anymore, for no reason. My wife got me off them fast. My teeth have too many issues to fchew gum. The lozenges don't work for me either.

However, I have been on and off again with the patches. They seem to have the best effect of all of them. So, after being able to do up to 3 days with the patches, I am ready to start the final run to quit. Tomorrow morning, the patch goes on and I will try to do whatever it takes to make it through.

Goodbye and good riddance to smoking after 47 years of it.

I'd walk to the gas station to pick up more smokes, but it's raining. I think tomorrow I'll order some mussels off of DoorDash.

Thanks to the long absent Desert Fox fox the inspiration, kind words and most of all this thread. I'm sure it's saved more than a few people from the filthy death sticks.

have had my ups and downs.. but recently got implants and i get a life time guarantee on them if I do not smoke, I now have no choice. they should have told me no drinking as well. Either way...2 months now again without a smoke.

Yes, but its not polonium its also radon and uranium decay. they are mainly absorbed from atmospheric nuclear testing done from 1945-1999

All the governments of the world know. Its a big reason why tests were stopped. The scandal was swept under the rug, they didnt want another leaded gas crisis.

Anyway i quit after 19 years. Been 20 days. Alot of nervous energy, coughing up alot of crap.

More than 3 years. Best thing I ever did.

Wish I had never touched nicotine. It's a beast to kick.
