I quit back in February, it was very easy. I switched from cigs to roll up cigs and pouch of tobacco. With roll up cigs, the tobacco has less addictive chemicals in them and you can control how much tobacco goes into your cig. Gradually reduce the amount of tobacco that goes into them, and coming off them is so much easier.

Additionally, I advise you not to drink alcohol for 5 weeks otherwise you will lose your inhibitions and relapse.

I am totally over my addiction, and haven't looked back. In fact, the very smell of smoke makes me feel nauseous.

Now I'm in the process of giving up my lifelong habit of dairy consumption.
