Cell phones getting weird "sisa" texts

By 'numerous' did you mean 'my cell phone'?



Think your phone is bugged? If it were I doubt they would errantly send random text messages to draw suspicion.

Dont know if your cell phone is tapped.

Not mine, but numerous people I know have been complaining of the texts on their phones as well as friends of theirs.

All of our communications are logged & stored electronically regardless.

I saw that as well, has nothing to do with video promotional campaigns.

But that company could have acquire a number database and may be sending the errant text messages through it's system software. No?

Marketing and Invasion of Privacy seem to go hand in hand these days.

True, The texts dont say anything about messaging, videos or any propmotions. Just a bunch of numbers separated by semi colons, with upper and lower case letters.

Looks something like this......<sisa:17506079:1:1:199:4363007>fMCILGyR1dbkmr5zXEfs​xg. Not all the same message though.

Sounds like a programming bug or error in some system software. I bet the numbers are in their database but maybe not supposed to be receiving that texted data or at least not in that format. I feel like if there was something dubious in play then there would be no suspicious text msgs involved at all. The fact that the name 'sisa' could be traced back to a real company that works in the marketing field is very telling.
