The mayor of DeBary stopped by the Hart's home, but the family told WESH 2 they are still angry at the city for starting the problem. Thats a bit strange at the bottom of the article, they were still angry at the City for starting the problem, what problem? is this a major thing in DeBarry, going around killing Chickens? sounds like there maybe more to this story unless i am reading it wrong. Read more: [ link to www.wesh.com] The City of DeBary's City Council was trying to force the family to get rid of the chickens, and was trying to assess a fine of 250.00 a day against them. Their chicken coop was the cleanest I've ever seen. Apparently, some grouchy neighbors had been complaining.
