The mayor of DeBary stopped by the Hart's home, but the family told WESH 2 they are still angry at the city for starting the problem. Thats a bit strange at the bottom of the article, they were still angry at the City for starting the problem, what problem? is this a major thing in DeBarry, going around killing Chickens? sounds like there maybe more to this story unless i am reading it wrong. Read more: [ link to www.wesh.com] The City of DeBary's City Council was trying to force the family to get rid of the chickens, and was trying to assess a fine of 250.00 a day against them. Their chicken coop was the cleanest I've ever seen. Apparently, some grouchy neighbors had been complaining. Thanks for the answer, so it was either the neighbors, or city officials that killed the Chickens, what a sad story, poor kid. I'd bet my prettiest horse it was the loudest complaining, lowlife POS neighbor. The city officials are a bunch of pansies who only care about their hob-snobbing parties. It makes my heart hurt for that little boy.
